China is one of the eight additional nations for which the Apple Vision Pro has been announced, following three months of exclusivity in the US.
It was first introduced at WWDC in June 2023 and eventually released on sale on February 2, 2024, albeit only in the US. Since then, there have been indications—like job ads—that the headgear is headed abroad; Tim Cook even mentioned that China would receive it in 2024.
Apple CEO Tim Cook stated, “We are thrilled to introduce the magic of spatial computing to more customers around the world. The enthusiasm for Apple Vision Pro has been extraordinary.”
With pre-orders starting on June 13, 2024, Apple has announced the release in several countries during their iPad event:
- China
- Japan
- Singapore
It will thereafter go on sale in those nations on June 28.

Pre-orders for the following nations will open on that same day:
- Australia
- Canada
- France
- Deutschland
- UK
It will be available in each nation starting on July 12.
The Apple Vision Pro started at $3,499 at launch, however there have occasionally been $200 off sales. While currency swings and some areas include tax in the quoted price, overall international pricing seems to align with the US.
Storage starts at 256GB but can be upgraded to 512GB or 1TB. Optic inserts are available separately, the same as in the US.
Three months after its launch in the US, the Apple Vision Pro made its worldwide premiere, which might bring the company one quarter of the way toward producing a second headset. The follow-up to Apple Vision Pro might release in late 2025 or early 2026.
