BLACKPINK’s Jennie is rumored to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe after making her acting debut in HBO’s The Ido. There have been murmurings that the superstar may join the cast of a show about an Asian superhero squad called Squad Agents of Atlas.
Fans have suspected this since at least 2022, but it was only recently discovered that Fala Chen, Claudia Kim, and Benedict Wong, three Asian actresses who have appeared in the MCU, all follow Jennie on Instagram.
There are rumors that Jennie will play Luna Snow/Seol Hee, a K-pop star and ice-manipulating superhero. The hero, who is fluent in both Korean and English, primarily acts as a guardian of the Pacific Rim but has also rescued the rest of the globe.
Blackpink’s Jennie reportedly has signed up to star in the upcoming Marvel film.
