Honda has unveiled updated concepts for its much-anticipated 0 Series EV lineup, showcasing a revamped 0 Saloon and an all-new 0 SUV at CES. These models will be built at Honda’s Ohio-based EV hub, with production slated to begin in 2026.
The 0 Saloon has evolved from its earlier wedge-shaped concept, ditching gullwing doors for traditional ones while retaining its sleek, futuristic design. The interior now looks closer to production, featuring functional screens and a yoke-style steering wheel powered by Honda’s custom-built Asimo OS. Meanwhile, the 0 SUV appears more production-ready, offering a conventional design with added practicality like door handles and a charge port door.
Both vehicles will incorporate cutting-edge tech, including a centralized electrical/electronic (e/e) architecture with a new system-on-a-chip (SoC) developed in partnership with Renesas Electronics Corporation. This architecture supports advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and even Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities.
With the 0 Saloon expected to serve as a flagship starting at $80,000 and the 0 SUV positioned as a more affordable option, these models are set to compete with bold designs from Chinese EV makers and reshape Honda’s presence in the EV market. Production begins in 2026, and the 0 Series promises to combine efficiency, innovation, and luxury.
