North West may soon begin an entrepreneurial career like her mother. According to reports, Kim Kardashian’s 9-year-old could soon have her own brand. Several sources claim that Kim has applied for four trademarks on her daughter’s behalf.
Two of the trademarks sound like they describe products that North will be selling, including skincare and toys. The fourth trademark is for “entertainment in the nature of providing information in the fields of entertainment and pop culture by means of a global computer network.” That’s a wide-open question!
Like her famous father, Kanye West, North reportedly has a 2019 trademark for a potential clothing line.
Specifically, “non-medicated skin preparations, skin moisturizers, skin lotions, skin creams, skin cleansers” are listed as the goods and services covered by the trademark. The advice of a 9-year-old on how to care for one’s skin? Wow, that’s original! Then again, her routine probably covers more bases than ours does.
The Kardashian family has made a habit of cashing in on their notoriety and influence for personal gain. And it appears that the second generation of Kardashian children will be cashing in on their own personalities and fan bases as they come of age. With Kim’s help, North has risen to fame on the video-sharing app TikTok by collaborating with A-listers like Ice Spice and Mariah Carey. She has a lot of silly videos, and they all tend to get millions of views.
There is no telling when North’s brands will debut, but they are clearly in the works.
