After passing Justin Bieber as YouTube’s most-viewed artist, BLACKPINK has done it again.
Over 30.1 billion views have been accrued on the video site since the K-pop quartet debuted in 2016, making them the first artist to dethrone Bieber from the title in nearly 13 years. The group, comprised of Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo, also has the “All-Time Most Subscribed Official Artist Channel” on YouTube with 86.4 million subscribers, ahead of BTS’s BANGTANTV (74.2 million) and Justin Bieber (71.2 million). In addition to Lisa’s “LALISA” at number seven on the “All-Time Top 24 Hour Music Debuts” list, BLACKPINK has three entries on the chart: “Pink Venom” at number three, “How You Like That” at number four, “Ice Cream” at number five, and “LALISA” at number seven.
In September 2022, BLACKPINK finally released their highly anticipated second album BORN PINK, and they supported it with a globe tour. Jisoo has since released her first solo album, ME, making her the group’s lone member to do so.
