Group14, a Rapidly Expanding Battery Materials Startup, is in the Middle of a Trade Secret Dispute
Group14 Technologies, which makes materials for batteries and is based in Seattle, has filed a lawsuit against an unnamed U.K. competitor for allegedly stealing “key trade secrets” needed to make batteries with more power that Group14 developed. Legal action against Nexeon, the company accused of stealing from Group14, has begun with the demand for a jury trial and the demand for an immediate end to the theft and compensation for damages.
