Snoop Dogg and Eminem have collaborated on a music video for their single “From the D 2 The LBC.” The video depicts the two legend rappers blowing smoke in the recording studio with Eminem having some very trippy hallucinations, seeing himself and Snoop as Bored Ape cartoon characters based on the NFTs the musicians apparently own.
The project has a comic book / superhero feel to it, with hand-drawn art showing the artists’ creativity in a way inspired from some NFTs. With a laid back vibe the video flows with some pretty cool backgrounds.
The duo performed their song live for Bored Ape Yacht Club members while debuting the music video at the very same time.
NFTs are volatile assets just like crypto. Also seeing this duo do something with Bored Ape illustrations is really no different than what the group Gorillaz did back in the day.
