Yellowstone’s upcoming fifth season in just around the corner. Taylor Sheridan’s TV drama show starring Kevin Costner drops its two-hour premiere event on Sunday Nov. 13 on Paramount Network.
Yellowstone is a drama series that follows the Dutton family, led by patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner). The Duttons control the largest contiguous ranch in the U.S. and must contend with constant attacks by land developers, clashes with an Indian reservation and conflict with America’s first national park.
What’s going on in Yellowstone’s fifth season?
The most important thing is that it seems like Kevin Costner’s character, John Dutton, is the governor of Montana. Instead of dragging out last season’s gubernatorial election, the trailer starts with Dutton being sworn in as governor. This makes it seem like his adoptive son Jamie’s (Wes Brantley) murder of his father at the end of last season had no effect on the American democratic system.
Who are the actors in Yellowstone’s fifth season?
Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, Finn Little, Ryan Bingham, and Gil Birmingham were already in the hit show. Mo Brings Plenty, Wendy Moniz, Jen Landon, and Kathryn Kelly are also becoming regulars on the show.
Entertainment Weekly says that Kai Caster will play a young cowboy named Rowdy, that Lainey Wilson will play a musician named Abby, that Lilli Kay will play a new assistant named Clara Brewer, and that Dawn Olivieri, who was also in the Yellowstone prequel 1883, will play Sarah Atwood.
