The band has debuted the new single “The Emptiness Machine” from their upcoming album From Zero and welcomed new members Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain, who will be playing drums and vocals, respectively.
The big news about Linkin Park’s new members, new songs, and a world tour, which includes a date at The O2, London, has finally been made public.
After a lot of rumors, nu-metallers have announced their new lineup, which includes Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave Phoenix Farrell, Joe Hahn, and new singer Emily Armstrong. The band’s drummer is Colin Brittain.
Mike Shinoda said of the new members, “The more we worked with Emily and Colin, the more we enjoyed their world-class skills, their company, and the things we made together.” “This new lineup and the lively, energizing music we’ve made together give us a lot of power.” We’re putting together the sound elements we’re known for and also looking for new ones.
The band told Billboard that founding drummer Rob Bourdon has chosen not to be a part of the new lineup.

Mike Shinoda talked about their upcoming From Zero record, which will be out on November 15 via Warner. He said, “Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero.”
He said, “The title of this album refers to both our humble beginning and the journey we’re on now.” It sounds and feels like a mix of the past, present, and future. It has our signature sound, but it’s also fresh and full of life. Our new and old partners, our friends, our family, and our fans were all very important to us when we made it. We’re happy with how far Linkin Park has come and look forward to what the future holds.
