When it opens in the spring of 2023, an epic, immersive experience will take people on a safari through the natural wonders of the seven continents, narrated by David Attenborough.
The most-watched factual TV show of 2019 was the BBC’s Seven Worlds, One Planet, which was also narrated by Attenborough. It was praised for its amazing footage, which showed things like fireflies putting on a mesmerizing light show and super-cute snub-nosed monkeys huddling together to stay warm.
The BBC Earth Experience will open on March 30, 2023, in the purpose-built Daikin Centre in Earl’s Court. It sounds like it will be a bigger, walk-through, 360-degree version of the TV show, with multiple multi-angle screens and Attenborough’s voice turned up to 11. The experience, which lasts about an hour, will only be in town until the end of July.
If it seems a little hypocritical to put this show in a place that was built just for it, we’re told that the Daikin Centre can be taken apart.
