A spy exclusively told Page Six that Tom Cruise and Shakira skipped the 2023 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix starting grid to hang out in a VIP hospitality suite on Sunday.
While drivers were still being presented prior to the race, security escorted the “Top Gun: Maverick” star (age 60) and the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer (age 46) off the circuit.
A fan then filmed the two celebrities, along with one of Shakira’s sons, chatting animatedly in the VIP section.
The pop artist rocked a pair of baggy green sweatpants, oversized sunglasses, and a green corset top with multiple cutouts.
In a white polo shirt, dark trousers, and aviator sunglasses, Cruise also went for a laid-back look.
After their highly publicized breakup, Shakira and ex Gerard Piqué are both freshly single.
She made the announcement of their split in June 2022, following rumors that the 36-year-old football player had an affair with his current girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.
Piques’ affair broke Shakira apart
The notorious “Whenever, Wherever” singer allegedly found out about Piqué’s alleged affair when she returned home to find her jam supply had run out.
It’s also common knowledge that Cruise is currently dating nobody.
Serena Williams and Karlie Kloss, who both announced their pregnancies at the 2023 Met Gala, were spotted speaking during the Miami Grand Prix.
The tennis pro, who was accompanied by her sister Venus Williams, looked stunning in all black, accessorized with hot pink sneakers, while Kloss opted for a similarly daring pink pantsuit.
The model and her husband, Joshua Kushner, were congratulated by the Jonas Brothers, who performed earlier in the weekend at the Hard Rock Beach Club.
Irina Shayk was seen in the paddock wearing only a translucent skirt and black knickers, leaving nothing to the imagination.
Emily Ratajkowski, who is currently unmarried, quipped on TikTok that she was seeking a “husband” at the event because of all the famous people in attendance.
Vin Diesel and Ludacris, meanwhile, reunited on the starting grid for a “Fast and Furious” photo op with Tom Cruise.
Diesel captioned an Instagram photo, “Maverick meets Toretto,” as a joke.
Celebrities such as James Marsden, Brooklyn Beckham, and Madelyn Cline (of “Outer Banks”) were on hand to see Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won his second straight Miami Grand Prix. TikTok star Alix Earle was also in attendance.
